Winter Walks
The area has some of the best winter walking in Scotland. There are many local companies who can offer guidance for those who are new to the hills.
Mountain Biking
As a mountain plateau area we can offer some of the best high range and forest trails in Scotland. The Glenmore and Rothiemurchus area near Loch Morlich and Loch an Eilean are just great for family rides on well maintained and well signed paths. Bike hire is available at a number of places. At all times bikers should respect other path users.
Speyside Whisky Trail
Carrbridge is an ideal location to head north from and enjoy the world renouned Speyside Malt Whisky Trail.
